Miranda Naidoo

Miranda Naidoo has extensive work experience in finance and management roles. Miranda is currently serving as the Chief Financial and Commercial Officer at Edcon since August 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Absa Group as the CFO for RBB Distribution, Customer Channels, and Coverage from November 2016 to June 2019. Miranda also held positions at Barclays as the CFO for Business Banking Customer sectors and segments, as well as the CFO for Retail Segments and RBB NIR. Miranda started their career at ABSA as the Chief Financial Officer for the Personal Loans division from August 2007 to April 2012. Before joining ABSA, they worked at Vodacom as a Billing & Project Manager. Miranda also worked at Telkom as a Financial Manager and at New Republic Savings Bank as an Internal Auditor. Miranda began their career at EY as a Trainee Accountant and Auditor.

Miranda Naidoo obtained their Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) degree in Accounting, Auditing, Management Accounting & Finance, and Taxation from the University of KwaZulu-Natal from 1991 to 1994. Miranda then pursued an Honours in Accounting from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2000. In 2004, they obtained the certification of CA(SA) from SAICA CA(SA).
