Carolyn Durante has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Carolyn is currently working as a Literacy Facilitator at AIM Institute for Learning & Research since June 2022. Prior to this, they served as an Instructional Coach at EdConnective starting from August 2021. In 2020, Carolyn worked as a Micro-Credential Assessor and Approver at BloomBoard, Inc., and as an Assessment, Evaluation, and Testing Coordinator at The Chapin School. Carolyn also has experience as an ELA Content Reviewer and Writer at EdReports.org starting from March 2015. From August 2016 to January 2023, they held the position of Core Advocate - New York State Captain at Student Achievement Partners. Additionally, Carolyn worked as a Learning Specialist for grades 4-7 at The Chapin School from August 2016 to September 2019. Earlier in their career, they served as a 3rd Grade Teacher at Harlem Link Charter School from September 2013 to June 2016, and as a Middle School Special Education Teacher and Coordinator at Prospect Hill Academy Charter School from August 2007 to June 2013.
Carolyn Durante completed their Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Special Education and Teaching at Boston University from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching at the same institution from 2003 to 2007. In addition, Durante has obtained a certification as a Wilson Level 1 Dyslexia Specialist from Wilson Language Training in May 2019.
