Elizabeth Sturdy has over 10 years of work experience in the education and coaching fields. In 2022, they became the Founder and Mindset Coach and Workshop Facilitator of Sturdy Coaching AS. In 2021, they were an Instructional Coach at EdConnective, a Health and Wellness Coach at Beachbody, and a Year 3 Class Teacher at Birralee International School Trondheim. Elizabeth was also an English Teacher at Brilla Institutt in 2015. Prior to that, they were an Elementary Teacher at Wake County Public School System in 2012, McMinnville Christian Academy in 2011, and Patton Middle School and Yamhill-Carlton Elementary for teacher candidate practicums in 2011 and 2010, respectively. In 2009, they were the On-Site Director and Counselor at Tilikum Day Camp.

Elizabeth Sturdy has a Masters of Education from the University of San Diego School of Leadership and Education Sciences, obtained in 2017, with a focus in STEAM: Cross Curricular education in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. Elizabeth also has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from George Fox University, obtained in 2011, with a focus in Elementary Education and Teaching. Additionally, they have obtained a Dare to Lead Trained certification from Dare to Lead\u2122 Trained in 2020, as well as an Initial I Teaching License from the Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission, and a North Carolina Standard Professional II License from the State of North Carolina State; Board of Education; Department of Public Instruction.
