Jorden Jones

Jorden Jones has worked in various educational roles since 2010. In 2010, they began working as a Secondary English Teacher for Teach For America, as well as a Composition Teacher and Coordinator for Boys' Latin Charter High School of Philadelphia. In 2012, they became an 8th Grade Theirtory Teacher for Democracy Prep Public Schools. In 2013, they were a Theirtory Instructor for Great Oaks Charter Schools NYC. From 2015 to 2020, they worked at Great Oaks Charter Schools as a Principal and Dean of Curriculum/Instruction. In 2020, they were a School Principal for Baltimore Leadership School for Young Women. In 2021, they became a Specialist for Insight Education Group, Inc. and an Instructional Coach for EdConnective. In 2022, they began working as a Manager, IMPACT Allign for District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS).

Jorden Jones received a Master of Education (M.Ed.) from the University of Pennsylvania in 2012, focusing on Secondary Education and Teaching. From 2006-2010, they earned a B.A. from Duke University in Political Science/ AAAS, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and African and African American Studies. Jorden also attended Georgetown University from 2006-2009.
