Will Pattie has worked in various roles in the music industry since 2006. Will began as the Band Director at The American International School in Egypt in 2006, then moved to Associate Conductor at the Chesapeake Youth Symphony Orchestra in 2009. In 2011, they were the Orchestra Director at KIPP DC, followed by Elementary Music Teacher, Band Director, Chorus Director, and All-County Junior Honors Band Director at Arlington Public Schools from 2015-2017. In 2018, they became the Head Conductor at VCU Health, followed by Assistant Conductor at RICHMOND PHILHARMONIC INC in 2019. Most recently, they have been a Coach at EdConnective since 2020.
Will Pattie obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Virginia Commonwealth University between 2001 and 2006. Will then went on to receive a Master's Degree in Orchestral Conducting from The Catholic University of America between 2009 and 2011. In July 2020, they obtained a Virginia State Teaching License from the Virginia Department of Education. Will also holds a Conversational Solfege certification from the Feierabend Association of Music Education.
