Jianzhong Qian

Jianzhong Qian has extensive work experience in research and development management in various fields such as imaging, computer vision, pattern recognition, AI, robotics, and medical applications. Jianzhong began their career in 1990 as a Principal Research Scientist at Siemens Gamasonics, Inc. In 1993, they joined Siemens Corporate Research, Inc. where they served as an R&D Program Manager and Distinguished MTS until 2002. During their time at Siemens, they were awarded Siemens Global Inventor of the Year in 1999. In 2003, Jianzhong Qian became the President and CEO of EDDA Technology, Inc.

Jianzhong Qian pursued their education in a well-structured and organized manner. Jianzhong began their educational journey in 1984 by enrolling at Virginia Tech, where they completed their Master of Science (M.S.) degree with a specialization in Electrical/Computer Engineering with a focus on Pattern Recognition. Jianzhong continued their academic pursuits and in 1985, they joined Virginia Tech once again, this time to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision. Jianzhong Qian successfully completed their Ph.D. program in 1990, significantly advancing their expertise in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision.
