Yuanfeng Mao

Yuanfeng Mao has a strong background in robotics engineering. From 2018 to present, they have been working at EDDA Technology, Inc. as a Senior Robotics Engineer. In this role, they lead a team in the development of surgical robotic platforms, manage project milestones, and facilitate cross-team collaboration. Prior to this, from 2018 to 2022, they worked as a Robotics Engineer at the same company, where they were responsible for developing software for real-time path planning and trajectory control for surgical robots, as well as designing interaction mechanisms and safety indexes for human-robot collaboration tasks. Additionally, in 2017, Yuanfeng served as a Course Assistant at Columbia University in the City of New York.

Yuanfeng Mao holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University. Yuanfeng completed this degree from 2016 to 2017. Prior to their time at Columbia, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering at Beihang University from 2012 to 2016.
