Umair Ahmed

Umair Ahmed has extensive experience as a mobile application developer, with a focus on Android development. Umair started their career at QuaidTech in 2016, where they led a mobile app team and was involved in designing and developing Android and iOS applications. During their tenure, Umair also played a key role in creating technical and functional documents, maintaining industry standards, and implementing new requirements from the marketing department.

In 2021, Umair joined Eddress as a Senior Android Developer. In this role, they contributed to the full development cycle of the app, from inception to final implementation and support. Umair closely collaborated with project delivery managers and the customer success department to address technical tickets raised by clients. Umair also took ownership of implementing new features in the app.

Later in 2021, Umair moved to BeepBeep! as a Senior Android Developer, where they continued to leverage their Android development expertise.

Umair Ahmed completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering from Comsats University Pakistan, from 2005 to 2009. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at Karlstad University from 2010 to 2012.

In terms of additional certifications, Umair Ahmed obtained the Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 7 Programmer certification from Oracle in May 2014. More recently, they completed various project management courses and certifications. These include "Agile Project Management," "Capstone: Applying Project Management in the Real World," "Google Project Management," "Project Execution: Running the Project," "Foundations of Project Management," "Project Initiation: Starting a successful project," and "Project Planning: Putting It All Together." These courses were completed through Grow with Google on Coursera in December 2022 and January 2023.

Umair Ahmed also completed the "Complete Kotlin Design Patterns masterclass 2022" certification on Udemy in December 2022. Additionally, they obtained certifications in "Decision-Making Strategies," "Emotional Intelligence for Project Managers (Blinkist Summary)," and "Leading and Working in Teams" from LinkedIn in November 2022.
