Joerg Pfuhl

Dr. Joerg Pfuhl has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Edel SE & Co. KGaA since March 2021 and has chaired it since March 2022. Also since March 2022, Dr. Pfuhl Member of the Board of Directors of Edel Management SE.

Dr. Pfuhl has been active in the media industry for over 25 years and was a.o. from 2002 to 2011 CEO of the Random House publishing group and from 2016 to 2020 of the Holtzbrinck book publishers and in the past member of various supervisory bodies (including Cornelsen Bildungsholding, Audible, Skoobe, Edel AG from 2012 to 2016). From 2011 onwards he was also Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Reading Foundation for ten years. dr Pfuhl studied business administration at Saarland University and ESC Lyon. He received his doctorate in the field of auditing and works as a lecturer at various German universities.
