Fran Petrangelo

Fran Petrangelo, CFA®, CFP®, CAIA®, has extensive experience in the financial industry. Fran is currently serving as the Director of Financial Planning at Edelman Financial Engines, where they develop personal financial plans for individuals and recommends investment strategies. Prior to this, Fran worked at Citizens Securities, Inc. as a Financial Advisor, where they established a $35M advisory practice and helped clients achieve their financial goals. Fran also served as a Financial Advisor at Prudential Financial. Fran's career at Fidelity Investments spanned over two decades, during which they held various leadership roles, including Vice President of Investment Consulting and Director of Research. Fran managed teams of research analysts, implemented impactful projects, and presented to executives within the firm. Fran also worked as an Investment Consulting Analyst at William M. Mercer. Their expertise encompasses asset allocation, investment consulting, financial planning, and client relationship management.

Fran Petrangelo, CFA®, CFP®, CAIA®, holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance from Questrom School of Business, Boston University. They also obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Finance, General from Isenberg School of Management, UMass Amherst. Additionally, Fran holds various certifications, including Certified Financial Planner (CFP) from CFP Board, Insurance Agent certifications in Accident, Health, Life, Variable Life & Variable Annuities from the Division of Insurance - Licensed in Massachusetts, and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst certification from the CAIA Association. They are also pursuing a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and have completed several FINRA certifications including Series 24, Series 63, Series 65, and Series 7.
