Rashida Roopawalla has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Rashida began their career in 2007 as a Dealer in equity and equity derivatives at Sharekhan Limited, where they traded online on behalf of customers and provided market information and execution services. Rashida then worked as a Data Analyst at the National Learning and Skills Council in 2009, followed by a role as a Finance Analyst at Schlegel Automotive Europe ltd from 2010 to 2011. In 2012, they joined Forefront Capital Management Private Limited as an Assistant Manager, where they assisted in portfolio management and quantitative investment strategies. Rashida has been associated with Edelweiss Asset Management Limited since 2014, initially serving as the Head of Product and Marketing Alternatives and currently holding the position of Chief Operating Officer.
Rashida Roopawalla completed their Secondary Certificate Examination at St Annes High School from 1990 to 2002. Rashida then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics & Statistics at St. Xavier's College, which they completed from 2002 to 2007. Following that, Rashida attended the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School from 2008 to 2009, where they obtained an MSc degree in Finance.
