Janet Jeremiah

Janet Jeremiah has a diverse work experience in the field of city planning and development. Janet began their career as the Owner/Manager of Jeremiah Landscape Design & Construction in 1983 and ran the business until 1990. Janet then transitioned into the public sector, starting as an Associate Planner for the City of Bloomington, MN from 1990 to 1994. Following that, they worked as a Senior Planner for the City of Brooklyn Park in 1994 and later became the Planning & Zoning Supervisor for the City of St. Louis Park from 1995 to 2004. Currently, Janet holds the position of Community Development Director at the City of Eden Prairie since 2004.

Janet Jeremiah, AICP has a Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Janet has also completed coursework for a Master of Planning at the University of Minnesota Humphrey Institute, pending thesis completion. In addition, they obtained their AICP certification from the American Planning Association in July 1997.
