Emma Evans

Chief Marketing Officer at Eden Project Limited

Emma joined Eden’s marketing team in 2015 and was appointed as Marketing Director in 2019.

Emma is now Eden’s Chief Marketing Officer, overseeing the areas of Brand, Audiences and Digital. She leads on developing and delivering Eden’s brand strategy to build profile, awareness and reputation, extending and diversifying its audience reach and engagement, and maximising the delivery of commercial and cause related revenue streams. In this role she champions a consistent brand and audience centred voice across the many different ways that a visitor engages with Eden, whether virtual or physical.

Emma has over 20 years’ marketing and communications experience gained within the commercial and charitable sectors, including tourism, arts and culture, and consumer media. Prior to joining Eden, Emma spent over 10 years in lifestyle publishing, working for Time Warner and Emap, across a number of leading media brands in both publishing and marketing roles. She then moved to the UK division of US based company Newell Rubbermaid, where she was responsible for brand marketing and new product development for writing brands including Parker, Waterman, Berol and Papermate across various UK and overseas territories. This was then followed by a move into the cultural sector, enjoying roles at, amongst others, the internationally renowned opera house Glyndebourne, and, following a move to Cornwall in 2012, Tate St Ives.

Emma holds an MA from Cambridge and lives in the furthest reaches of West Cornwall, next to Lands End, where she enjoys exploring the coast path with her family and two salukis.
