Larissa Costa, Ph.D.

Larissa Costa, Ph.D. has extensive experience in pharmaceutical research and development. Larissa currently works at Edesa Biotech, Inc. as the Manager of CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls), a role they have held since March 2022. Prior to this, they were a Research and Development Associate at the same company from August 2020 to March 2022. Before joining Edesa Biotech, Inc., they worked at Biolab Sanus Farmacêutica as an R&D Formulation Development Technician from August 2018 to August 2020. In this role, Larissa supported a team of scientists in manufacturing solid dosage formulas and adhered to GMP standards. Larissa also wrote Standard Operating Procedures and managed inventory.

Larissa's previous experience includes working as a Research Assistant at LNFarma - Nanotecologia Farmacêutica/Laboratório de Imunopatologia Keizo Asami from March 2017 to December 2017. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Pharmaceutics and Drug Design at Universidade Federal de Pernambuco from 2011 to 2013.
