Sam Malloy

Sam Malloy is an experienced Senior Fullstack Engineer currently contracted at EDF (UK) since August 2023. Previously, Sam served as a Lead Cloud Engineer at Xydus, where technical leadership was provided for an Event Driven backend system aimed at automating Right to Work checks and enhancing DevOps and CI/CD practices on AWS using Terraform. As a Principal Software Engineer at Savient Limited from January 2021 to January 2023, Sam led teams in delivering serverless AWS microservices using technologies such as React, Typescript, Java, and NodeJS, while also focusing on Test Driven Development and automation. Other notable roles include Co-Founder at Event Master, Cloud Engineer at Niaxo, Fullstack Engineer at Savient Limited, and React/Java Developer at BMT Defence & Security UK. Sam holds a BSc (hons) in Software Engineering from Bournemouth University.
