Elton Julies

Elton Julies is a seasoned professional in health, safety, and environmental management with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as HSE Manager at EDF Renewables in South Africa since February 2022, Elton previously held the position of HSSE Manager at ACWA Power from May 2013 to May 2022, where significant projects included the successful completion of a 50 MW Concentrated Solar Power Plant and a 120 MW Wind Turbine Power Generation station in Morocco. Earlier in the career, Elton worked as a Risk Engineer at AIG and as Health and Safety Manager at Eskom Holdings, gaining expertise in risk management and compliance across various industries. Elton's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene from North-West University, along with numerous certifications in environmental management, project management, and safety practices.
