Nicolas Chaperon

Nicolas Chaperon is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Project Lead at EDF Renewables in South Africa since February 2023, where responsibilities include coordinating workstreams and resources to achieve Financial Close for projects involving onshore wind, solar PV, and battery storage. Prior to this role, Nicolas worked at Neoen from August 2016 to January 2023 as Project Finance Manager, securing financing for renewable projects globally and leading significant transactions in Australia, France, and Africa. Earlier career experiences include roles as Project Finance Analyst at BNP Paribas, where Nicolas supported various energy and infrastructure projects in Latin America, and M&A Intern at Crédit Agricole CIB, among others. Nicolas holds a degree from ESCP Business School and CentraleSupélec, along with further education from the Centre Européen de la Négociation.
