Cory Jog has extensive work experience in the renewable energy industry. Cory is currently working at EDF Renewables North America as a Principal Product Manager, where they are responsible for defining the product vision and ensuring its clear communication to the delivery team. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Product Manager at the same company, focusing on digital transformation and building products that provide value to users.
Before joining EDF Renewables, Cory worked at DNV GL, where they held various roles. As a Product Manager, they managed and drove the digital strategy for the company's internal renewable energy analytics platform, facilitating the migration to a more efficient infrastructure. Cory also served as the Director of Renewable Analytics, leading a team responsible for wind and solar analytics.
Cory's earlier experience includes working at EDF Renewables as a Manager, Innovation and Analytics, where they identified areas of improvement and developed solutions for wind and solar projects. Cory also served as a Manager of Innovation, where they evaluated data and managed global research initiatives in the renewable energy industry. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Analyst in Wind Assessment, conducting research projects and providing technical review for investment decisions.
Cory's work experience also includes serving as the Co-chair of the Resource Assessment Working Group at the American Wind Energy Association and working at GL Garrad Hassan as a Team Leader, Software Sales and Technical Support Engineer, and Wind Energy Analyst.
Prior to their career in the renewable energy industry, Cory volunteered in the Peace Corps from 2004 to 2006.
Cory Jog (he/him) holds a Certificate in Leading Digital Transformation from INSEAD, obtained in 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California between 2002 and 2004. Cory'seducation also includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physics from Lewis & Clark College, completed between 1999 and 2003. In terms of additional certifications, Cory obtained a Product Leadership Certificate (PLC) from Product School in 2022 and became a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) through Scrum Alliance in May 2021.
