Dave Gillespie

Dave Gillespie is a seasoned professional in cable engineering with extensive experience in the renewable energy and subsea sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Cable Engineer at EDF Renewables North America since January 2023, Dave has previously held senior engineering roles at Seaway 7, where responsibilities included overseeing cable installation and analysis for offshore wind farms, and Shell, where coordination with umbilical vendors and project teams was key. Prior experience also includes engineering positions at Wood Group and Oceaneering, focusing on umbilical systems for various significant oil and gas projects. Dave holds a Master's degree in Materials Technology from Edinburgh Napier University.
