Elise Anderson is an experienced professional in environmental compliance and renewable energy. Currently serving as the Director of Biodiversity and Environment at EDF Renewables North America since October 2021, Elise specializes in environmental and biodiversity compliance strategies for energy facilities. Previous roles include Senior Environmental Specialist at Enel Green Power, where responsibilities included managing hydropower compliance for over 40 plants and supporting solar farm permitting, and Environmental and Regulatory Compliance Analyst at Essex Power Services, overseeing compliance for run-of-river hydropower dams. Elise also worked as Renewable Energy Program Manager at the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources, promoting renewable heating and cooling technologies in schools.
