Matt Guernsey

Matt Guernsey serves as General Manager at EDF Renewables North America, overseeing operations and commercial interests for utility-scale renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and battery storage since 2017. With prior roles as Sr. Asset Manager and Asset Manager, Matt skillfully managed profitability for various renewable projects across the U.S. Previously, Matt held positions at Century West Projects, Inc. as Operations Advisor, and at First Solar, where contributions helped grow the Energy Services business unit significantly. Matt's extensive background in operations and engineering includes roles at Calpine, Siemens Energy, Westinghouse Electric Company, and Fluor. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Finance from Bryant University and a BSMET in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
