Modupe Ojo

Modupe Ojo has extensive work experience in the field of tax. Modupe is currently employed at EDF Trading as a Tax Director since August 2022. Before that, they worked at Expro as a Regional Tax Manager (NAM) from November 2019 to August 2022. Prior to Expro, Modupe held the position of Principal Tax Advisor at Shell from 2016 to January 2019, and Principle Tax Advisor at BG Group from May 2014 to October 2016. Modupe also worked at Weatherford as a Senior Tax Analyst from September 2013 to May 2014, where they were responsible for various tax-related tasks including federal tax filings, tax provisions, and tax audits. Modupe's earlier experiences include working as a Revenue Agent at the Internal Revenue Service from March 2010 to September 2013, a role in which they conducted tax examinations and investigations, and as an Experienced Staff at Malone & Bailey, PC from May 2007 to June 2009. Modupe began their career as a Staff Accountant at AGOP Energy Services in April 2005, where they worked until April 2007.

Modupe Ojo's education history starts with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Lagos, from 1998 to 2002. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from the University of Houston-Downtown, from 2005 to 2007. In terms of certifications, Modupe obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from TEXAS in December 2010.
