Kim Watson

Kim Watson has a diverse background in the legal field, with key roles at Edfinancial Services and Bass, Berry & Sims. From 2012 onwards, they served as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Edfinancial Services, where they drafted and negotiated various agreements, advised on employment law matters, ensured regulatory compliance, and served on committee boards. Prior to this, Kim was a Vice President and General Counsel at Edfinancial Services from 2007 to 2011. Kim had also worked at Bass, Berry & Sims as an Of Counsel from 2011 to 2012, an Associate from 2005 to 2007, and an Associate in the Commercial Transactions department from 1997 to 2004. Throughout their career, Kim has expertise in commercial transactions, commercial real estate, and secured financing.

Kim Watson completed their Bachelor of Arts in English at Union University from 1991 to 1994. Their degree focused on English and Secondary Education. Following their undergraduate studies, from 1994 to 1997, they attended the University of Tennessee College of Law, where they obtained their Doctor of Law - JD degree. During their time at the University of Tennessee, they specialized in Business Transactions within the field of law.
