Emma Pieters has been working in the marketing and brand development space since 2012. In 2012, they were a Board Member for Solvay Kring, a student association for business engineering students from the Solvay Business School. In 2015, they were a Marketing-Customer Engagement Assistant for Cegeka and an Intern for Close the Gap, an international non-profit organization. In 2016, they were a Foreign Trade Analyst for iLumen BVBA and a Vice President for Initiatiefgroep Solvay. Since 2016, they have been working at Anheuser-Busch InBev, where they have held the roles of Brand Activation Manager Local Jewels BeNeFraLux, Senior Brand Manager Corona & Leffe BeLux, Trade Marketing Executive IH - Jupiler, and Market Visionaries Program (MVP) trainee. Most recently, in 2021, they were hired as the Brand Development Manager for Edgard & Cooper.
Emma Pieters completed their ASO Latijn-wiskunde from Scheppers instituut Mechelen between 2005 and 2011. Emma then attended Vrije Universiteit Brussel from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business Engineering (Handelsingenieur). In 2013, they also obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Business/Managerial Economics from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology. Finally, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Business Engineering from Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2016. Additionally, they obtained a Certified Marketer Level 1 (CM1) from General Assembly in December 2020.
