Asem abu-Taleb / Edge Expert

Asem Abu-Taleb is a highly experienced mechanical design engineer currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Dar Al-Handasah (Shair and Partners) since September 2013, specializing in the design of mechanical systems. In addition, Asem holds the role of EDGE Expert at EDGE Buildings since June 2020, providing expert advice on green building design and EDGE certification. Previous experience includes senior mechanical design engineering roles at MEDA Consulting Engineers and Spectrum Consulting Engineers, where Asem contributed to significant projects such as the Kempinski Hotel Extension and Al-Khartoum Bank. Asem began a career in HVAC design at PETRA Engineering Industries Co. and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Hashemite University.
