Gabriel Solorzano

Gabriel Solorzano is an experienced engineering professional with a background in project engineering and energy management. Currently serving as a Project Engineer at DMA Engineering since November 2020, Gabriel specializes in HVAC design, hydronic systems, and energy modeling. Concurrently, as an EDGE Expert at EDGE Buildings, technical advice is provided for sustainable building design and EDGE certification for both commercial and residential sectors. Since March 2018, Gabriel has also worked as an independent energy management consultant at Nunet, focusing on detailed engineering development, cost estimation, energy audits, and 3D modeling. Previous roles include project engineering at Schlumberger, project estimation and technical advising at Proyectos Integrales del Ecuador PIL S.A., and mechanical supervision for construction projects in the petroleum sector. Gabriel holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Escuela Politécnica Nacional and a certification in Energy Management from AENOR.
