Osilama Osumah

Osilama Osumah is an experienced civil engineer and project lead with a strong focus on urban development and geographic information systems (GIS). Currently serving as Project Lead at the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development in Lagos State, Osilama is responsible for creating a geodatabase to automate the permit and authorization processes. In addition, Osilama holds roles as an EDGE Expert and Technical Assistant at Lagos State Geographic Information Services, leading operations in the use of drone technology and GIS for urban planning. Osilama's extensive background includes senior civil engineer positions at the Lagos State Building Control Agency, where responsibilities included building inspections and drone image processing, as well as self-employment providing civil engineering services. Osilama's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing from the University of Ibadan and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Benin.
