Paul Smalley

Paul Smalley is a seasoned educator with extensive experience in religious education. Since September 2006, Paul has served as a SOLSTICE Fellow and Senior Lecturer in Education at Edge Hill University, where responsibilities include leading Undergraduate RE teaching routes and advancing Technology Enhanced Learning. Previous roles encompass Head of RE at Fairfield High School from 2001 to 2006, Year Co-Ordinator at Hesketh Flecher High School in 2000-2001, and RE Manager at Castle Hall School from 1995 to 2000. Paul holds a Master of Arts in Religious Education from the University of Warwick, a PGCE in Religious Education from Sheffield Hallam University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Bible/Biblical Studies from The University of Sheffield. Early education was completed at North Bolton VI Form College and St James CE School.
