Saniea Akhtar

Saniea Akhtar has a varied work experience beginning in 2010 when they worked as a Supply Planner/Production Supervisor for Unilever. From 2012 to 2017, they worked as a Field Engineer, Fracturing and Stimulation for Schlumberger. In 2016, they became a Graduate Assistant - Database Management for the Chair of Information Systems Research at the University of Freiburg. In 2019, they were a Graduate Teaching Assistant - Microcontroller Laboratory for IMTEK at the University of Freiburg and a Master Thesis Student - Focus: Deep Learning for Psiori GmbH. In 2021, they became an Embedded Software Engineer for both FERCHAU and IPT Technology | Wireless power drives mobility. Currently, they are a Solutions Engineer for Edge Impulse.

Saniea Akhtar has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Embedded Systems Engineering from The University of Freiburg, which they obtained in 2019. Saniea also has a Bachelor of Science - BSc. in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST). In addition, they have obtained certifications from deeplearning.ai for Neural Networks and Deep Learning in 2019 and from APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) for Certified in Production and Inventory Management in 2011. Saniea also holds an edX Honor Code Certificate for Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python.
