Zin Thein Kyaw has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. In 2000, they began their career as a Senior Applications Engineer for Cypress Semiconductor. Zin Thein then moved to Texas Instruments in 2005, where they worked as a Senior System Applications Engineer until 2012. During this time, they were a key ZigBee Smart Energy customer account support, and was the co-chair of the ZigBee Alliance Home Automation Working Group from 2011-2012. In 2012, Zin Thein Kyaw joined ARM as a Senior Product and Technical Marketing Manager for the Internet of Things BU, where they were responsible for product management aspects for mbed OS. In 2015, they became a Senior Product Manager for Smart Home Hub software at SmartThings. In 2017, they founded Konnected Widgets and invented K-Mometer, a patent-pending smart Wi-Fi thermometer system. In 2018, they joined Kroger Technology as a Senior IoT Systems Architect and was the commercialization development lead for external customer engagements. Most recently, in 2020, Zin Thein Kyaw joined Edge Impulse as a Lead Solutions Engineer and Senior User Success Engineer.
Zin Thein Kyaw attended the University of Southern California from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (Computers).
