Joseph Jasunas

Joseph Jasunas has a diverse work history in the field of security management and operations. Joseph recently joined EdgeConneX in 2022 as the Director of Data Center Operational Security for APAC. Prior to this, Joseph worked at CBRE from 2020 to 2022 as the Regional Security Director for APAC. Joseph also had a significant tenure at CME Group from 2011 to 2020, where they held various positions including Manager of Global Security, Global Security Manager for APAC, and Supervisor. Joseph's early career was with Security Management and Investigations Inc., where they served as the Operations Manager from 2006 to 2011.

Joseph Jasunas earned a Bachelor's degree in Chinese and Japanese Studies from Valparaiso University, where they attended from 1996 to 2000. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Information Systems from Northwestern University, completing their studies between 2013 and 2015. In addition to their formal education, Joseph has obtained various certifications, including the CBCI Qualification from The BCI in November 2022, Efficient Email Management with Outlook 2016 from LinkedIn in October 2016, Security Center - Omnicast Technical Certification from Genetec in February 2015, Professional Development Series in Emergency Management from FEMA in July 2014, IED Search Procedures from the US Department of Homeland Security in May 2014, Instructor - CPR/AED and First Aid from the American Red Cross in September 2013, and the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) from ASIS International in January 2013.
