Thiam Chye Sim

Thiam Chye Sim has extensive work experience in the operations and data center industry. Thiam Chye is currently the Head of Operations APAC at EdgeConneX. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Operations at CapitaLand for four years. Before that, they were the VP of Operations at 1-Net Singapore Pte Ltd and the Director of Solution Architecture at IO. Thiam Chye also held the position of VP Operations at CSF Asia Pte Ltd, where they were responsible for setting up new Data Centers and providing strategic directions in Southeast Asia. Thiam Chye Sim's earliest work experience includes being the Operations Director at Equinix Singapore and serving in engineering and management roles at StarHub.

Thiam Chye Sim completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Information Technology from Lancaster University between 1993 and 1995. Later, between 2007 and 2009, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Counselling Psychology from LCC.
