Tarek Soubra

Tarek Soubra has extensive work experience in the construction industry. Tarek currently serves as the Director of Platform Development at Edged, starting in 2022. Prior to this, Tarek worked at Skanska from 2014 to 2022 in various roles. Tarek served as a Project Manager for the LaGuardia Terminal B - Central Hall building project, overseeing a team of 15 management personnel and 200 field personnel. Tarek was responsible for daily operations, procurement, commercial and change management with owners and subcontractors. Tarek also held the position of Commercial Manager at Skanska, where they managed commercial strategy, relationships with owners and subcontractors, project schedule, cost projections, and associated risks for the LaGuardia Terminal B - Terminal Building project. Additionally, they have experience as a Planning Engineer, Cost and Risk Engineer, Project Pursuit Engineer, and Estimating Engineer within Skanska's CCTP Fast-Track Program. Tarek's career at Skanska began as a Business Development Analyst, where they contributed to the development of a 5-year business plan and conducted detailed market research.

Tarek Soubra's education history begins with their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, which they obtained from the American University of Beirut between 2009 and 2013. Tarek then pursued a Master of Science degree in Construction Engineering and Management at Columbia University from 2013 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Tarek has obtained several certifications, including Envision SP (Sustainability Professional) from the Institute For Sustainable Infrastructure in May 2015, a Certificate in Accounting from NYU School of Professional Studies in January 2015, EIT - Engineer In Training in New York State from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) in February 2014, and LEED Green Associate from the U.S. Green Building Council in October 2013.
