Leon Banks

Leon Banks is an experienced manager and researcher in the field of microbiology and product testing, currently serving as Manager of R&D at Edgewell Personal Care since November 2011. With a history that includes roles such as Associate Manager, Senior Scientist, and Scientist at Edgewell, Banks has overseen laboratory operations, performed microbiological risk assessments, and provided expertise to global manufacturing teams. Previous experience includes positions at Dendreon Corporation as a Microbiology Quality Control Associate, where environmental monitoring and sterility testing were conducted, as well as work at Consumer Product Testing Company, Inc. and Marypaul Laboratories. Banks holds an MS in Molecular Biology from Montclair State University and a BS in Biology from UMass Boston.
