Ryan Collins

Ryan Collins is a board member at Edgewood College and the former Chief Information Officer of Open Lending. Ryan has over 15 years of experience in the financial technology industry.

Collins began their career as a software developer for CUNA Mutual Group, where they worked on LoanLiner.com, a credit union lending platform used by hundreds of credit unions nationwide. Ryan also served as the business systems lead for Lenders Protection, a financial institution B2B insurance product for vehicle lending. In this role, they created a backoffice Lenders Protection billing, account management and reporting platform, as well as a custom integration into Symitar, a core financial system used by credit unions.

In 2008, Collins joined Open Lending as their Chief Information Officer. During their 12-year tenure, they replaced existing on-premise technologies or implemented new cloud-based technologies (Office 365, Box.com, Salesforce.com, Quickbooks online, Rally Development), and maintained all relationships with technology partners and vendors. Ryan also led the company’s transition from an on-premise telephone system to a VOIP telephone system.

Collins is currently a board member at Edgewood College.

Collins earned a bachelor's degree in business with a concentration in computer information systems from Edgewood College.
