Edgewood ISD
Christian K. Parra, M.Ed., serves as the District Elementary Math Coordinator for Edgewood ISD since September 2022. Previously held multiple leadership roles at Harmony Public Schools from August 2014 to August 2022, including School Principal, Principal Resident, and District Curriculum & Instructional Math Coach-K-5, where responsibilities involved researching and developing math teaching strategies and resources. Earlier experience includes serving as a Teacher and 4th Grade Classroom Teacher at United Independent School District from August 2007 to July 2014, focusing on lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment. Additionally, Christian worked as a Student Records Assistant/Veteran Affairs Coordinator at Texas A&M International University from July 2006 to July 2007, assisting veterans in navigating educational resources. Christian's educational background includes a Master of Education in Administration from Lamar University and multiple degrees from Texas A&M International University in Business Administration and Bilingual Education.
