Liliana Nelms is an experienced educator currently serving as a Teacher at Edgewood Independent School District since July 2023. Previously, Liliana worked as a Children's Activities Coordinator at The Walt Disney Company, where responsibilities included leading and facilitating diverse activities for guests of all ages. Additionally, Liliana held roles as a Conservation Education Intern and an Education and Engagement Intern, focusing on community outreach and educational programming related to animals and conservation. Experience as an Informal Educator at San Antonio Zoo involved overseeing educational programs and animal care, while time at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment included conducting tours and guest education. Early career experience includes serving as a Swim Instructor at Sonoma Ranch Renegades and participation in the Disney College Program. Liliana holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
