Melissa True

Melissa True has a diverse work experience. Melissa currently serves as the Director of Mobile Mental Wellness at Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute since April 2022. Prior to this role, Melissa held positions at Edgewood ISD, where they were the Senior Director of Student Support Services starting in June 2021, and the Director of Guidance and Counseling starting in June 2020. Before that, Melissa was a Principal at Garland ISD from June 2017 to July 2020.

Melissa True is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General at Concordia University Texas. Prior to this, they obtained a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Texas Tech University. Their undergraduate education was completed at Midwestern State University where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Elementary Education with Mathematics Emphasis.
