Prakhar Saxena

Prakhar Saxena is currently serving as an Assistant Research Officer at EDI Global since March 2023, after completing a summer internship with the same organization in 2022, which focuses on research and data collection in Tanzania, Uganda, and the UK. Previously, Prakhar worked as a Consultant at the Inclusion Economics India Centre from July 2019 to June 2021, contributing to governance initiatives that aimed to enhance accountability and reduce delays in wage payments for workfare participants in the MGNREGA Act. During a three-year tenure with Teach For India from June 2016 to May 2019, Prakhar held roles as a Consultant and Fellow, significantly improving literacy levels in a low-income school and leading community education initiatives in Sangam Vihar, New Delhi. Early career experience includes a role in inside sales at Aspiring Minds from May 2015 to May 2016, focusing on market and competitor research. Prakhar holds an MSc in Development Economics from Université Clermont Auvergne (2021-2023) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from The LNM Institute of Information Technology (2010-2014).
