Matt Johns, MPA has a diverse education history. Matt obtained their Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from The University of Texas at Arlington in 2020. During their time at the university, they focused on Public Administration. In 2019, they also pursued a Graduate Certificate in Budgeting and Financial Management from the University of Texas at Arlington College of Architecture, Planning and Public Affairs.

Prior to their graduate studies, Matt completed their undergraduate education at the University of South Carolina from 2008 to 2012. Matt earned a degree in Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations and International Studies.

Before entering college, Matt received their High School Diploma from Trinity Valley School, where they attended from 1995 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Matt also holds several certifications. Matt obtained their Notary Public certification from The Office of the Texas Secretary of State in June 2023. Furthermore, they acquired the Google Ads Display Certification from Google in April 2022. Lastly, Matt became a Hootsuite Professional Certified individual in 2012, awarded by Hootsuite Media Inc.
