Bhathiya Hemanthage

Bhathiya Hemanthage is currently a Doctoral Student at the Edinburgh Centre for Robotics, Heriot-Watt University, and The University of Edinburgh since September 2020. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Moratuwa from May 2019 to August 2020, where responsibilities included teaching courses in Machine Learning and Data Structures and Algorithms. From April 2016 to May 2019, Bhathiya served as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at CodeGen International, focusing on research and development. Earlier internships included positions at WSO2 and Apache jclouds as a Google Summer of Code Intern. Bhathiya holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Moratuwa and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Engineering from the same institution, with foundational education at Ananda College.
