Mateusz Ochal

Mateusz Ochal is a CDT student at the Edinburgh Centre for Robotics since September 2018 and has extensive experience in the field of robotics and cloud computing. Prior to this role, Mateusz worked as a research assistant intern at the University of Southampton, focusing on online mechanism design for cloud scheduling through reinforcement learning. Previous internships at ARM and Citrix involved developing software solutions, automating documentation, and contributing to product testing and documentation. Mateusz holds a PhD in Robotics and Autonomous Systems from both the University of Edinburgh and Heriot-Watt University, along with an MS in Robotics and Autonomous Systems from Heriot-Watt University and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Southampton. Educational background also includes advanced studies at Hills Road Sixth Form College in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Computing, and Physics.
