Josu Etxebarria

Josu Etxebarria is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Head of Operations, Head of Project Management, and Technical Project Manager at Edinor, S.A. since September 2020, focusing on Distributed Energy Generation and Energy Communities. Prior to this role, Josu held the position of Technical Project Manager at IBIL, specializing in EV charging solutions, and worked as an Electrical Project Engineer at Siemens, where successful development of power conversion units for Data Centers was achieved. Josu's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Sustainable Energy Technology from Delft University of Technology and multiple engineering qualifications from Czech Technical University in Prague and Mondragon Unibertsitatea. Notable earlier experiences include serving as President of the Delft Sustainable Energy Association and managing EV charging projects at Tesla in the EMEA region.
