Ediphi’s mission is to empower the people who plan the built world. We offer the most advanced cloud-based estimating solution purpose-built for modern preconstruction! Our goal is to shorten the time spent in preconstruction so that projects start more quickly and teams can be more confident of their outcomes. Modern construction estimating is a significant challenge and existing solutions revolve around spreadsheet nightmares! Michael Navarro was an estimating veteran at Suffolk and saw a better way. He and the team developed a product that is now used by hundreds of estimators at Suffolk. In 2023, he teamed up with Dustin DeVan, founder of BuildingConnected (which was acquired by Autodesk for $275 million), to spin out Ediphi as an independent company. We recently raised a $12M Series A round led by Norwest Venture Partners with continuing participation from Suffolk Technologies. We've set huge company goals to launch Ediphi as a SaaS offering for GCs around the country! That’s where YOU come in.

As an Account Executive at Ediphi, you’ll be responsible for managing customer relationships, driving sales, and achieving revenue targets. You’ll build strong relationships, seek out new business opportunities, and conduct product demonstrations. An essential aspect of this role is effectively communicating Ediphi’s vision, value proposition, and differentiators to prospects - highlighting the unique features and benefits that set us apart from our competitors. As the first person our customers meet, you’ll play a crucial role in fostering long-term partnerships while exemplifying our values and brand. This position will report to the Director of Sales and work closely with Technical Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Support teams. 

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and qualify potential customers through research, networking, and outreach efforts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to understand their business challenges and goals.
  • Present our products and services to prospective customers, effectively articulating the value proposition and differentiators.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Technical Sales, Marketing, Support, and Customer Success to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing terms to close deals that are mutually beneficial.
  • Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • U.S. Based
  • 3-5 years of experience as an Account Executive or Relationship Manager role.
  • Demonstrated success B2B sales, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. Experience selling SaaS products or services is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to overcome objections, address concerns, and close deals.
  • Technical aptitude and a basic understanding of technology and software applications. Willingness to learn new tools including Ediphi, CRM systems & other sales tools.
  • A customer-centric mindset, a passion for listening, understanding client needs, and delivering solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of the construction or preconstruction industry or experience in construction SAAS space.
