Kimberly Goldman-Kuromi

Kimberly Goldman-Kuromi is an experienced educator currently serving as a Student Support Specialist, English II Teacher, and Restorative Justice Coach at Edison High School in Portland, Oregon since July 2022. Previous roles include Student Teacher for sixth-grade Language Arts at Ockley Green Middle School and eighth-grade Humanities at Sellwood Middle School, where Kimberly developed and implemented lesson plans aligned with Oregon’s Common Core Standards. Experience as a Behavior Interventionist and Educational Assistant at Portland Village School involved implementing strategies for classroom management and supporting student learning. Kimberly also led an afterschool Dungeons & Dragons program to foster social-emotional development. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Teaching Secondary, English Language Arts from Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling and a Bachelor’s Degree in English - Language Arts Teacher Education from Humboldt State University.
