George Church

George Church is a prominent scientist and entrepreneur, currently serving as a co-founder at several biotech companies including Dyno Therapeutics, eGenesis, Editas Medicine, Colossal Biosciences, Eugit Therapeutics, and ARRIVED AI. In addition, Church is a professor at Harvard Medical School, where research and teaching activities have been ongoing since 1986. As an advisor for Genome Compiler Corp. and Genia Corp., Church contributes expertise in nanopore DNA sequencing. Church founded Gen9, Inc. in 2009 and holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Harvard University. Church’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Zoology from Duke University, along with studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, reinforcing a strong foundation in the sciences from a young age.
