Cary Telander Fortin began their work experience in 2012 as the Co-Founder and Author of NEW MINIMALISM. In this role, they provided in-person, writing, and speaking services to help clients simplify and rejuvenate their homes and workspaces. Cary Telander also authored a book titled "New Minimalism: Decluttering and Design for Sustainable, Intentional Living." From 2017 to 2021, Cary worked as a Branding + Content Consultant, helping women-led startups and small businesses clarify their mission, vision, and values through storytelling and compelling communication. In 2021, Cary became the Co-Founder of goodbuy.

Cary Telander Fortin completed their Bachelor's degree with Honors in Psychology and Art History at Dartmouth College from 2002 to 2006.
