Matthew Offenbacher

Matthew Offenbacher has over 13 years of work experience. Matthew is currently the Associate Director of Quality Assurance at Editas Medicine since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Manager of QA at Editas Medicine from May 2021 to July 2022. Before joining Editas Medicine, Matthew worked at Sanofi Genzyme for over 12 years. Matthew held various roles including Manager of QA CDI and Specialist Supervisor. Matthew's responsibilities included managing quality assurance teams, driving investigation closeouts, identifying and resolving manufacturing issues, and implementing corrective and preventative actions. In addition, they worked as an Intern at Androscoggin Soil and Water Conservation District in 2007, where they conducted site assessments, wrote technical assistance reports, and met with landowners and steering committees.

Matthew Offenbacher earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies/Ecology from Bates College, where they attended from 2004 to 2008.
