Laura Donohue is a computational biologist with extensive experience in both academia and industry. Current position is at EditCo since March 2024, following a tenure as a computational biologist at Synthego Corporation from April 2022 to March 2024. Prior engagements include a postdoctoral scholarship at Stanford University School of Medicine from September 2021 to April 2022 and a role as a Research Technician II at Massachusetts General Hospital from 2014 to 2016. Earlier experience also encompasses work as a conversation auxiliary in Ayamonte, Spain, supporting high school students, and multiple roles at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, including undergraduate research fellow and laboratory technician. Laura earned a PhD in Genetics from Stanford University School of Medicine (2016-2021) and a BS in Genetics and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2008-2013).
