Zakieh Tayyebi is a Computational Biologist currently working with the External Collaborations Team at Immunai since January 2024. Previously, Tayyebi served as a Doctoral Candidate at the Christina S. Leslie Lab at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from January 2019 to December 2023, where significant contributions included the development of the CellSpace algorithm for embedding single-cell ATAC-seq data, and extensive benchmarking against competing methods. Prior experiences include research rotations at the Olivier Elemento Lab and Iman Hajirasouliha Lab at Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences, focusing on deep learning in histopathology and computational genomics, respectively. Tayyebi also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Seyed Abolfazl Motahari Lab at Sharif University of Technology, examining complex networks. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computational Biology from Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences and a BS in Computer Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
